I got it to open, but when I tried to make a new game, it said it couldn't write a new line of data somewhere so it was virtually unplayable. Haven't tried it on Win 10 yet. Do I need to downgrade DOS Box or change some things? |

If you want to run the game with Sound Blaster audio, launch the game like this:
7cities.exe -s -i# -p#
Where -i is your IRQ, and -p is your port. |

I managed to get the sound working by opening 7cog.bat with a text editor, and changing the text to "7cities.exe -s"
hopefully this helps some of you

In 0.63 the game seems to work fine when using joystick control. With keyboard it tends to crash after a minute or so with a "PIC: Unhandled command 81" error. |

This fine game now works perfectly in DOSBox v0.63.
Best to find install disk of game. |
