i deleted bindings for left alt-key in key mapper, works fine for me. now i can still use right alt-key for save, restore etc, but this one does not "hang" :-) |

i also have the same keyboard troubles (alt-key keeps being pressed). I tried 0.70, 0.73 and 0.74 with dgenvga.exe, all with the same result, with either internal (notebook) or external keyboard. Someone in a forum said, changing priority to "normal,normal" instead of "higher,normal" might solve this problem, but it didn't.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?? |

To fix a corrupted version, use a hex editor on DGEN.EXE and search for the string A1 96 5E 3B 06 82 5E 74 0E, replace with A1 96 5E A3 82 5E EB 0F 90 |

I'm having the same problem, in both 0.65 and 0.63. Which totally sucks because this is one of my favourite games from back in the day! |

For some reason, I get strange keyboard behaviour. After pressing Alt for first time (I need to press Alt-K to fix keyboard axis each time), it seems the alt key stays depressed even when it isn't on the keyboard. As such I can't access stats, or anything that doesn't use the alt key. Quit also doesn't work then. Can't type on the computers (in the game) either which means I'm pretty much stuck. This happens for 0.63 and 0.65. Strange, no one else getting this? |

--> this only happens with a corrupt D/Generation game.
However, if you have a working version then it's supported by Dosbox 0.63 (or higher) without getting crashes when changing rooms. So if your game crashes on room changing, try to find a working version somewhere.
The correct version has a directory named "BAL" and "RST" and a "dgenvga.exe" which all are missing in the corrupt version. |

Works great in 0.63 and post 0.63 CVS. This is d/generation configured for adlib and vga. Played two the second or third floor up, runs at normal speed, no issues. |
