The sound setup is a little bit strange. Anyway, the game is running fine selecting the correct sound devices.

The game now works in DOSBox 0.74. I've marked compatibility as 90%, because the game requires MIDI for sound, meaning that you'll still need a MIDI synthesizer on the system you're running DOSBox on to get music. I consider it a bug of DOSBox that it doesn't provide some basic builtin MIDI emulation (let alone something really cool like the MT-32), as it does for OPL/Adlib sound. :-) |

Still no luck in 0.70. Hope this game will be able to work someday. Running it under XP is hell. |

The game does not work on DOSBox 0.65 either.
When you start the game you get this:
Starte MadTV2... Moment...
[2000/015] :
[2003/001] :
[FIO/111] Abbruch: <004208F4,00431018,00000000,0000000F>
All the error messages (under Starte MadTV2) show up twice. Don't know why this is. I also don't understand what goes wrong, not much of a programmer, best I can make of it is there is something wrong in the game.exe source on lines 2000, character 15 and line 2003 character 1, assumably. Hope this cool game will at sometime work on DOSBox. It works under XP, without sound though :( |
