Another tip (2017-02-14 01:55) Gerakis
If the animation is choppy/laggy, the main reason why is because of the sound settings. In DOSBox, type "nosound=true" and hit Enter. Then run the game again. If needed, adjust the framerate using Ctrl+F11 and Ctrl+F12.
How to play this game on DOSBox (2016-06-23 16:10) Gerakis
Type these lines in

mount c (directory)
imgmount d (file name).cue -t iso -fs iso
d:
install

Fill in "directory" to where you want the game installed, "file name" where the game file is, and if D is not your CD/DVD drive, change it to whatever your CD/DVD drive is.
Runs fine, but without music (2015-02-23 15:08) KNA9595
Okay, so I mounted the dark sun cd to my virtual drive and it runs just fine, but without any music. I know it has to do with the cd, because that's where the game's music files are played, and I don't know why they aren't being played properly, or how to run them on my hard drive. Is there any way to remedy that?
some solutions (2011-03-04 22:38) JesterRaiin
to skip intro :
- press left SHIT key
to get past CDCheck :
- mount DSun2 image file into virtual drive
(let's say it's x:)
- add this line into DosBox config option under [autoexec] section
mount d x: -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl
(remember that x: stands for your virtual disc drive with Dsun2 cd)

Skip Intro (2008-02-06 20:17) Landryan
Can't skip out of the intro when I play the game - have to sit around and wait. Tried Dsun -K911 -a but this old cheat code doesn't seem to work. I have the large box 1.0 CD version. Also, the patch doesn't work to patch me up to 1.1. Any insight would be appreciated...

Can you give me specific instructions on how to get this working? I can't get past the CD-ROM check that it tries to do.

Thanks!

Have a good one! Take care!
