Works perfectly with 0.74. Game has CD-Audio Tracks so original cd is needed for that. The only issue is the initial setup crashing with a black screen but is easily solved by using these settings for the initial install:
cputype=486_slow
cycles=80000
After that these are the settings I used to run the game and it runs perfectly with no glitches:

I had to set
cputype=486_slow
and
cycles=fixed 16000
for preventing setup.exe to quit immediately and leave a black screen.
That goes for dosbox 0.74 |

To get SETUP.EXE to work with DOSBox 0.73 you need to change cputype=auto to cputype=pentium_slow. |

as previously stated, immediately after install, setup.exe just gives you a black screen and sits there, doing nothing. I have closed this and reopened dosbox, rerunning setup.exe. After waiting a while the setup screen does appear and I have been able to save and close, and start the game. As red_avatar said, you must have a powerul computer with dosbox 0.65, i am running a 2.13GHz centrino and, even after getting the cycles up to about 2500 - 30000, its still a ways from smooth! |

The upcoming Dosbox 0.66 will make this game very smooth to play, but right now you need a good PC for it to be playable. The problem with the setup still exists though. Try what the post above this one says - it didn't work for me though. I had to install it using an emulator running Windows 95. Once it's set up, the game runs perfectly though. |

Tricky one to get working this, but it can be done.
First off, install it to wherever you have your DOS games using DOSBOX. Then, install it somewhere else, this time through windows. The setup runs fine in windows and once setup, extra files are added to the CONFIG folder. Copy this folder over the CONFIG folder in your DOSBOX installation of the game and it should run without any problems (i've only tried STARTL.exe so far).
I also encountered a problem if the game was installed from my second CD drive, so you may have to install it off your first drive to bypass any "Insert Screamer 2 Disc" errors. |

Install is working fine, but the game wants to run "setup.exe" before playing for the first time. Sadly, this step just sits there. I think there's a real possibility it would work, if only the setup program could be run. |
