Also, the setsound feature of the game will not accept Gravis Ultrasound as default. |

Hi there, I've decided to post an update 6 years later! (And under a different username, my previous account seems to have been lost.) :)
The game seems to be working perfectly in 0.74. Firstly, be sure to set Gravis Ultrasound emulation to "true" in the dosbox configuration.
Then make sure the game has chosen Gravis Ultrasound as the audio device, or the game will freeze upon startup.
It seems to be working perfectly. It does require more CPU power than the average game in Dosbox - it takes about 25% CPU from my quad core 3ghz processor. |

And, to add to the above post, you must manually edit the PD.INI file in the PSYCHIC directory to assign the drive letters to the right chapters.
i.e.
vesaMode 0x101
fsFrameRate 15
chapterInfo 10 1 D:\MOVIES\CH10.STR
chapterInfo 20 1 D:\MOVIES\CH20.STR
chapterInfo 30 2 E:\MOVIES\CH30.STR

As Dosbox doesn't properly support CD-changing (for some games that is), you can try to make ISO-Images of the 3 CD's. Then by assigning each ISO-Image a drive letter (with Deamon Tools), I was able to play the whole game.

Poor playback of fullscreen videos on XP2000, however the smaller in-game videos are relatively smooth.
Game froze for me during cutscene after starting CD2. |

- install in 256-bit color mode
- choose Gravis Ultra Sound emulation
there is a constant ticking sound in the background, but the normal voices and music can be heard.
