At 50000 CPU cycles, Up 500 (Sync Up/Down checked), dynamic CPU Core, the game runs just about perfectly. I had the DOS memory set to 63 MB, but I doubt it needs that much. All other options were left at default.
It runs faster as virtually kill audio skipping if you copy the CD contents to a drive and mount the drive as a CDROM.
The only negative is when double-clicking to move quickly from one screen to the next, there's some audio skipping in the music. It happens in a few other isolated places as well, but all-in-all, with the above settings the game runs about 95-99% perfectly.

Installs and runs smoothly, on a Pentium 4 3,060CPU with 512 MB DDR RAM.
For best performance, I'd recommend setting frameskip=10 plus # cycles=16000 and then adjusting Ctrl+F11 whenever necessary so framerate won't slow down at times. |
