I think this hint is for the Disk-Version only:
If you get a black screen immediately at game start download the patch(es) and extract your language patch to the game directory.

0.74 works also with v1.05 but a file needs a fix (2010-10-04 16:49)

Tested with the french version, i get past the character screen selection.

For Processor i use Dynamic + Max and processor
type set to auto.

0.73 does not work (2009-09-07 04:30)

If you try using 0.73, the game will crash right after the character selection screen. Use version 0.72 to play this game.
