Strategy, poor graphics/sound - Supported (2016-03-30 11:36) ge2001
Game version 1.31, iso, English language.
No problems.

Test period: 10 Minutes
Win 7-64 Home Premium
Intel i5 M430, 4GB RAM
AMD Mobility RADEON HD 5000 Series (5650)
D-Fend and DOSBox 0.74
Works with dynamic core (2007-11-12 09:18) danielk
Since a bug affecting the game was fixed with DOSBox 0.72, the game now works like a charm with the dynamic recompiling core. Thus, it's both faster now and no longer a resource hog.

Tested on Ubuntu gutsy AMD64, with the DOSBox 0.72 hardy package downloaded separately. Game version 1.31, English language.
No obvious problems with 1.3-ger on 0.65 (2006-07-28 06:38) Znirk
German version 1.3 runs well with the standard settings, including music and sound (admittedly I turned the music off after two minutes). Two short games turned up no problems.
0.63 game crash (2005-12-03 05:42) Echon
The game has been running perfectly until now, but unfortunately it crashes when Subversion has been cast. The game ends with this line:
Data Free: 4144 bytes, Memory Free: 56k, Worst Free: 56k, EMM: 0 blocks
Speed and Sound (2005-11-26 03:09) taltamir
If your sound is glitchy, it might be because you are trying to do too many cycles.
I find that 10,000 is a good amount of cycles for this game, its alittle slow, but no glitches in anything.
0.61 on Fedora Core, update (2004-09-06 08:38) mattdm
I give it 18000 cycles on my Athlon64 3200+ -- that makes it run faster than it did on the computer I had in 1995. And yeah, the music and sounds do get a bit glitchy even then.
0.61 on Madrake 10.0 (2004-08-01 07:37) paule
Everything runs well, may be a little slow (2400+, 256 RAM) for such a machine, but fast enough to play if you increase the cycles. Sound works.
0.61 on Fedora Core (2004-06-28 20:29) mattdm
Runs fine for me under Fedora Core Linux 1 on a 600Mhz P4 (Sony U101). Needs to have the number of cycles increased, but when that's done, runs better than I remember it on my 486 when the game was new.

I normally play with the music off, but I hadn't noticed any trouble -- I'll have to check again.

PS: I wish someone would patch the Raise Dead buffer overflow bug in the game. *sigh*.
DOSBox 0.61 (2004-06-11 12:44) Esper256
It needs a lot of cycles. General Midi, SoundBlaster for sound work assuming your computer can handle the extra work. I encountered issues with saving and loading of game files where some slots would not hold a game. I fixed this by messing with the files manually, deleting them and recreating them in the game, or by copying game saves from slots that did work and naming them as the other slots.
0.61 (2004-02-05 05:25) Qbix
saving problems are fixed.
Runs fine with sound as well.
DosBox 0.60 (2004-01-09 15:19) ctty
Runs well if sound is turned off - if its on, game runs very slow (2200+ @ WinXP)

But when used without sound it runs without any problem, just like on my old 486 :)
DOSbox 0.60 (2003-12-22 02:48) Enlightenment
Painfully slow (on 1800+ @ WinXP), colours are distorted. The music has flaws (some tones don't play at all). Saving and loading seems to work, though.
DosBox 0.60 (2003-10-26 08:37) Xerxes
Problems with load save game or continue game
