Astro-Dodge - Dave Gangola (1982) Tested By: bumm13
runnable - playable - supported
DOSBox version: 0.74-2 (supported)
CGA graphics (2010-12-25 18:29)
The CGA graphics in some games are not compatible with VGA hardware, and this is one such game; so use machine=cga and it works fine.
The game hangs when you press ScrLck to exit because it is using the system BIOS to perform a power-on reset, and DOSBox isn't fully compatible with it.
Note: (2010-12-25 07:01)
The game's main menu screen with instructions on keyboard usage starts up fine. Num Lock starts the game but the graphics are completely garbled (random two-/three-colored things and lines of blue). Attempting to use Scroll Lock to exit the game (as instructed) simply causes the garbled graphics to stop "flickering" but doesn't exit to the DOS prompt.
