Running DOSBox 0.73 under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with an Aero theme.
The game works very well as long as you keep it in the small dosbox window.
Meaning:
- (Using Aero) Alt-tab the dosbox to full screen and the game goes to CGA colors; switch back then again to full screen goes into 2x CGA colors.
- (Using Win Classic) Works well. Got to start in full screen mode and not alt-tab to a window; go back to full screen and again it go into CGA colors.
Bash1 (Reg. ver.) regardless of Aero or classic views full screen works ok; full screen gives slow downs when lightening strikes and again back to CGA colors under Aero. Don't alt-tab. hehe
I cannot resize the dosbox window any larger/smaller; that would be nice to do because, the game plays perfect with all music and sound effects running in sync. |

I'd say the Monster Bash Shareware Demo is working perfectly in 0.63, myself. I don't have the registered version, but if it works any way like the Shareware version(v2.1), then that'd probably run perfectly, too. |
