Wasteland's Built-In Macros (2015-10-24 22:51)

Ctl-F1 brings up DosBox's keymapper, but I was able to program a macro on F2 just by pressing Ctl-F2. Looks like by default (in DosBox) Ctl-F2 and Ctl-F3 are unused and therefore available in Wasteland. I am running DosBox 0.74.

To be able to set macros (ctl-F*) you need to use ctl-F1 to open the keymapper and then click on the items in the lower right, and set them to nothing or to alt-F#.

After playing around with Wasteland, I find that the number keys can be programmmed like the function keys, but that is not good because the number keys access the character information screens for the characters in those positions-rendering macros pretty useless.

Running Wasteland in DosBox (0.74) does not allow me to program the in-game function keys.
