Crashes on battle (2008-05-22 18:23) Loeckchen
In 0.70 and 0.72, it crashes when I win a battle against the computer. Core=auto causes it to exit, and core=full causes the sound to get stuck and garbles graphics.
Even on PocketPC - fantastic!!! (2007-04-08 12:32) Warper
The game runs perfectly on my PC with DOSBox, even wavetable MIDI sound great!

I also play the game on Pocket PC using this DOSBox port: http://n0p.tonych.info/?DOSBox_PPC:DOSBox_0.63

My favourite game, thank you DOSBox team!
2 player mode? (2006-05-05 10:53) Matafou
Hi, I can't make the two lpayer mode (two mice) work. Is it possible?
Settler (2006-03-01 09:58) Steve14
Stupid me. I forgot to turn the music and the sound on.
It works good. No problems, yet.
Sound and music ? (2006-02-27 11:01) Steve14
Stupid question: give it sound and music at settler. I've the german version and I can't hear music or sound. I configurate the options right, but it don't seems to work.
works for me like a charm (2005-07-24 04:40) Felix Schwarz
I was able to play the first 8 missions without any problems using dosbox 0.63 on Fedora Core 4.
Crashes (2005-07-06 12:45) Theflash
With 0.63 Settlers crashes when I take over an enemy
guard post.
With sounds on and VESA on it gives "unhandled cpu opcode"
Without sounds/music some illegal reads/writes and
finaly: Exit to error: INT:Gate Selector points to illegal descriptor with type 0
Would say "supported" with dosbox .62 and 0.63 (2004-11-22 02:54) Bora
i can confirm that you have no fun with settlers if you play it under dosbox 0.61 and below.
too many crashes or it just didn't run.
but it seem to run just fine with dosbox 0.62 and dosbox 0.63. i played some few hours the lvl 3 of the campgaign-mode and it didn't chrash or showed other bugs or errors. the speed runs just fine as it should. even teh change to svga and back works without a crash or a bug.
works better with 0.61 (2004-02-07 05:55) DarthDiphong
the problem described by psy does not exist in ver 0.61
can't be play.... (2003-12-16 09:46) jerrychf
it say "unhandled cpu opcode" too....
Settlers (2003-10-25 18:08) CannibalBob
Seems to crash when the settlers come out of the castle
crashes (2003-10-16 13:24) psy
says "unhandled cpu opcode" when trying to connect a footpath to a flag
works! (2003-10-16 09:51) Qbix
even the VESA mode works!
Note: (2003-04-14 14:15) kumber
It needs protected mode.
