I would say it is playable to the point of being supported except for a few off timing issues. Sentri, one of the characters is the main culprit! He gets stuck in his home if you ask him to "go home". He trains or can train for infinite "training points" for a character with "zero". This is mostly a "Voodoo" problem, not the DOS BOx OS! It is related to the orignal manucfacturer's release of a rigid DOS 5.0 environment that tollerates no change. Timing as this is reflected in MOSLO released with the Ultima Collection and is no different. The bodies in Minoc still(potentially) disappear, this is a tech issue but also a gameplay specific though I feel must be put down. The infinite Training points is a cheat one may or may not like in the game so I'd definitely remove all frame skippping via F7 key and though you can adjust the clock via F11/12 "on-the-fly" I'd set a number, not too large, and not adjust anything in this rather flakey, though great plotted, game.

the aspect can get fuzzy(on any game) w/o latest nvidia. LCD's work well with update and fixed aspect enabled. use 15000-20000 cycles on Ultima(20000 on SI) and ddraw or another accellerated mode(personally at 19" 1280x1024) higher at higher res or widescreens. do not use surface or you get blurry/flickering screens on LCD's. Works perfect with right cycle setting acceleration ratios. no FPS lag or any such thing and timing is like original! Except for a few "SAVRAND.DAT crashes(only happened twice-just reload and save again on same file)have had no difficulties running U7 or SI.
