I would not say this under oath, but I think that the sound artifacts on the dos version were also present when I was playing it with my 386SX and Pentium computers (the music going out of tune when you jump on foes)
And as a rule with all dosbox games, remember always to decrease the cycles of the games in the early 90s (rule of thumb: until 1993-94) to 3000-6000, never on max, before running the game. |

Also, there is a fine remake done by the dotemu people for mobile phones and modern OS that is based on the Amiga port. |

Roland and General Midi music was not very well ported to the PC. It's very recommended to disable the extended midi emulation in dosbox (mpu401=none in dosbox.conf). The Adlib music at least sounds melodic. |
