Tried to play in Dosbox 0.74. Was slow until I turned up the cycles. Still choppy in a way that's hard to describe. A shame because the 25th anniversary game played perfectly in Dosbox (I finished it) |

Installed this yesterday.
- Mount CD-ROM
- Mount a folder as C: drive
- Left everything as is
Installed as I would do on an old DOS computer. It just works: everything. Sound, mouse cutscenes.
On my computer, the best setting for CPU-cycles is at least 10.000; below that, the game becomes sluggish.
Afterward I created a config file for this game and set some options, to automatically start it, go full screen, exit DOSBox when done, and so on. I've even created a Windows shortcut with an icon for it.
I don't even see Dosbox anymore when running this game. |

I recently downloaded Doxbox and now have 25th Anniversary running. I also attempted to install Judgment Rites using Dosbox and Windows XP, but I cannot figure out how to install it from the CD. I think the installation process should install the game files to the C drive, but I can't figure out how to locate the installation files on the Judgment Rites CD.There is a Univbe.exe and 1.exe that don't seem to work. I would appreciate it if someone could post the steps necessary to install it using Dosbox.

Look at the DOSBox Configuration file when setting up the audio properties, what works I've found is:

No problems with DOSbox .65 and StarTrek Judgement Rites: 1993 floopy disk version. Just a little choppy, but if I remember right, so was it back in 1994. |

When I tried to setup the music and sound settings, it wouldn't save, which caused the music and sound to not work. This may have been user error, but I tried it a number of ways, and could not get it to work. |

Takes some tinkering with CPU cycles (otherwise a bit choppy at first), but runs extremely well. Music and sound both work great. |
