*Using the German keyboard layout (<code>[[dosbox.conf]] [dos] [[keyboardlayout]]=gr</code>) along the German language version of the game is mandatory: one of the puzzles requires the player to type the character "Ä".
*When using a CD image you must use the bin/cue format, the game will not recognize the CD without the audio tracks.
*Override the DOS/4GW Extender with the [[TOOLS:DOS32A|DOS/32 Advanced DOS Extender]] by launching the game with <code>DOS32A.EXE RIVA.EXE</code> instead of <code>RIVA.EXE</code>.
