XWing läuft super, genau wie Tie Fighter Wars.
Installation:
1) Dosbox starten,
2) dann Spieleverzeichnis montieren:
mount c c:\spiele
3) CD montieren
mount d D:\ -t cdrom
4) auf CD-Laufwerk wechseln
d:
5) dort Installationsbefehl aufrufen:
install
6) darauf achten, dass empfohlene oder maximale Größe installiert wird (das wird später wichtig wegen des Joystick-patches)
7) Sound einrichten. Bei mir war erfolgreich:
Music: midi
Effects: Sound Blaster, Port 220, IRQ 7, DMA 1
8) In spieleverzeichnis wechseln
cd \spiele\xwing
9) Programmaufruf
bwing.exe
10) Joystick kalibrieren

Wenn das Probleme macht (Joysticks mit 2 Achsen):
