Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny is a computer role playing game developed by Attic Entertainment Software. It was the first game based on the German pen & paper RPG system Das Schwarze Auge by Fantasy Productions. The original German version of the game (German title: Das Schwarze Auge: Die Schicksalsklinge) was released in April 1992. Due to its success it was translated to English and released by Sir-Tech in June 1993.
Making it work
- Make sure to use the CALLDOS keyword to execute the batch file(s) in order to have the DOSBox-exitswitch working.
- Using the German keyboard layout (dosbox.conf [dos] keyboardlayout=gr) along the German language version of the game is highly recommended.
- When using a CD image you must use the bin/cue format, the game will not recognize the CD without the audio tracks.
