The Elder Scrolls: Arena is the first game in The Elder Scrolls series, developed by Bethesda Softworks and released in 1994. In 2004 the disk version was released as freeware to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls series.

Making it work

  • This game can be run on DOSbox. However, when I tried it on an older XP computer, it was very slow and lagged often. Trying the tweaks suggested on the DOSbox page might help. CTRL+F12 seemed to be helpful.
