Fasttracker 2 is a DOS music tracker program written by Vogue and MR H from Triton (Now Star Breeze Studios - this is no longer being maintained). FT2 works with the default settings. You can choose from within FT2 whether to use the GUS or SB16 sound devices.

GUS seems to sound much louder and works quite nicely. FT2 works at full speed with full sound.

You may want to edit your Dosbox config to allow 16 bit mixing at 44100hertz. Then in FT2 you can edit the mixing rate (in the setup panel) to 44100.

The last version is FT2.09 which you can find by searching the net.
