Theme Hospital is a business simulation game.

Making it work

If you require support for general issues, see the performance guide and FAQ.

Testing

The game doesn't seem to like DOSBox's GUS emulation; music makes it crash randomly and there's echoing artifacts with SFX. It's possible the game's GUS drivers aren't very stable in the first place. Use SB16 instead.

Works fine. No sound issues unlike the windows version running on XP (With compatibility setted to Win 95) Tested on DOSBox 0.72 for Win XP - Athlon 64 3000+

Works fine just slightly slow on Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard).

Works fine but also slightly sluggish in busy scenes on Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

Also works smoothly on Suse-Linux with DosBox 0.72

Works fine with slight slowdown when displaying a large number of animations on Vista may require cdrom or mounted cdrom image to play
