Couldn't you move the game's folder into whatever folder DOSBox has mounted as its C: drive, so its (virtual) path in DOSBox is the same as its original (real) path was? (e.g.: On my system, I have C:\DOSPROGS mounted as DOSBox's C: drive. If the game's original path was C:\SCREAM, I'd move the SCREAM directory into C:\DOSPROGS, thus making its real path C:\DOSPROGS\SCREAM and its DOSBox path C:\SCREAM.)
