Alone in the Dark 3 is the third installment of the Alone in the Dark survival horror video game series.

Making it work

To make it work, first you will need to mount your cue/iso image and install the game on your hard drive. After that, every time you want to play the game, you have to mount the image again and execute the game. This can be done with the following steps:

For this example, our mount folder will be /alone, change this to your right folder. The cue image will be indark3.cue

Installation:

MOUNT C /alone
IMGMOUNT E C:\indark3.cue -t iso
E:
INSTALL.EXE

Then follow the instructions.

Running:

Suppose you installed the game at INFOGRAM\INDARK3, and the executable file is AITD3.exe then:

MOUNT C /alone
IMGMOUNT E C:\indark3.cue -t iso
C:
CD INFOGRAM\INDARK3
AITD3.EXE

It is recommended for you to set the CPU cycles to around 15000 for the animations to run smootly. This can be done in your configuration file.

If you require support for general issues, see the performance guide and FAQ.
