After install, do the following 2 things:
1. Open TOONSTRK.CFG and replace the following 2 sections with this:
[DIGITAL]
DeviceName = Sound Blaster 16/AWE32
DeviceIRQ = 5
DeviceDMA = 5
DevicePort = 0x220
DeviceID = 0xe018
DeviceMonoID = 0xe017
Stereo = 0
TimerRate = 60
Flip = 0
[VIDEO]
UniVBE = 1
Width = 640
Height = 400
PaletteWidth = 8
Linear = 1
2. Using D-Fend Reloaded, change the video card to svga_et4000 (Tseng ET4000 SuperVGA card). I'm sure you can do this without D-Fend, but that's how I know to do it.
You will get an error message saying the game will run slow and have to press Y to continue after starting it, but it seems to run perfectly fine to me once it starts. I've also got it on Dynamic Core with Max limited to 60,000 cycles. |

This game works fine in DOSBox 0.73, so anyone experiencing problems with 0.74 might want to use the older version for now - or use the speed tip Doc Lithius suggested. (correction) |

Welp, that article was correct. Due to timing issues, the Gift-O-Matic (and incidentally, the puzzle in the Wolves Den) are essentially broken. However, I found that turning down the CPU processing speed (since I leave my CPU cycles at "Auto") to about 5% seemed to work just fine. Just remember to turn it back up afterward, otherwise you'll have a VERY slow game on your hands. |

This is how i Fixed the noisy Sound (seems a bit strage to me, but it works for me)
- Completely deactivated Gravis Ultrasound
- Soundblaster with following settings:
SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 T6
- Used the following Settings in Toonstruck:
Sound Blaster 16/AWE32
Port: 0x220
IRQ: 5
DMA: 5
Although the IRQ and DMA settings are different it works perfectly for me!

Yeah the games works very smoothly, but i cant use soundblaster sound card in this game. Ultragravis sounds lags like hell so i cant use them. |
