Change CPU-Cycle from Auto to ~ 15000
Prevents mouse jerking and slow movement.
Loading and saving in the game direktory. Perfect.

Worked fine, but sound was clicking occasionally which was very annoying. To fix, I changed the following 2 lines from :
prebuffer=10
blocksize=4096
To :
blocksize=2048
prebuffer=50
This corrected the problem and the game now operates as I played it in actual DOS w/ SBPRO 2. |

Hi there. When I try to run UW2, I can get to the intro screen without problem. However, when I try to Create Character, the game crashes with Error A005. In the DOXBOX Status Window, I get multiple instances of the following message:
Warning: file e:UW2DATABYT.ARK exists and failed to open in write mode. Please remove write-protection.
Not being a teckie, not sure what's happening here. Anybody have any ideas?

-Had to set "sensitivity = 20"0 in dosbox.conf to get around weird mouse behavior.
-Music and sound works fine, not sure about voice.
-If you have weird colors try "output = ddraw".
-Set "joystick = none" if you are constantly moving

Working 100% with DOSBox 0.71. Sound MIDI and Voice working with default setting. I had to set cycles=auto to cycles=max to stop flickering. |

Can't get voice (Guardian talking)using either SB or SBPro. Sound works. Used UINSTALL and UWSOUND executables to configure. Sound works, no voice. Using 0.63 DOSBox and D-Fend front-ender to run it. Any memory settings I should use, etc? DOSBox is Life! |

Work great with sound(walking, fighting, etc), music and voice! No problem on using SoundBlaster (not Pro) for music & sound. 'UINSTALL.EXE' is the setup program, not uninstall program. I am playing the one comes with the Ultima Underworld 1+2 CD. |

You have to use SB PRO with IRQ 5, otherwise everything works perfectly. |
