The "Deluxe Edition" released in 1990 (many sources erroneously claim it was released in 1992), like many DOS games, has problems detecting Sound Blaster digitized audio if the cycles in DOSBox are turned up too high, so lower the cycles to something like 3000 or below when you run the game so that it can detect Sound Blaster. After the game starts, you can turn the cycles back up to make it run faster. Note, also, that the game will detect MPU-401 support if it is enabled in DOSBox and use this to play the music, which makes the music sound very strange to my ears. This is obviously a subjective matter, but I find the AdLib music vastly superior to the "real MIDI" of the MPU-401, so try disabling MPU-401 support in DOSBox to get the AdLib music instead. (You can turn MPU-401 support back on if you find that you prefer it.) |

Works fine, there are some animations who work very slowly though. Also it sometimes get stuck, then you have to quit DOSbox and start it again. |
