Please edit my other comment...I wish I could do it myself...
The 1994 version is useless. For example, the keyboard halts in the second level.
But the 1987 version works fine and there's neither a need for those files nor to mount a floppy.
All you need is to take the files PRNGAL and TITLE.BCG from the 1994 version and put them in the 1987 version's folder. That's it! |

Start DosBox with the directory path containing the Karateka game files. Then, once running, mount that same directory as your floppy drive A:\. Finally run the Karateka.exe file. Otherwise the game will not find the files it normally looks for on a floppy diskette (i.e. IBMBIO.COM & IBMDOS.COM) and DosBox will lockup. |
