Tried this finally after only playing the Indycar racer from this came developer. Works great on nearly any Pent4 even in SVGA. Hope to try to muliplayer soon! I may even dig out 2 racing wheels I have in storage. :) |

WinXP - 2.4 GHz P4 128MB vid card - runs Nascar Racing great! All textures on - no lag at all. Even using old gameport MS Sidewinder Pro joystick - detected as two joysticks by this game, so throttle comes in real handy. |

Works like a dream under v0.70. You'll still have to turn off the road rtextures in SVGA mode, but that is needed too in real PCs. Otherwise perfect. |

The game is playable on VGA mode, but only if you turn down some detail settings, like the road textures and the number of cars drawn.
The SVGA mode is completely unplayable, though, although it's no surprise, it needed a fast Pentium already in its age. Actually, so it did VGA graphics and screen textures.
BTW, SVGA mode is selected by typing NASCAR -H when loading. NASCAR -F also gets better sound quality, and both switches can be used at the same time. |

This game may need a strong machine, as it had a hard time getting enough FPS for playable mode with WindowsXP and a 1 Ghz computer. |
