It runs perfectly with sound and all. I can't save options. The main command window of DOSbox says "SHELL:Redirect output to NUL", when I want to save the options. |

Magnificant quality game that stands the test of time well. Only one odd sound bug marres a perfect level of emulation in which the sound cuts out mid-game. To restore sound, the game needs to be re-loaded. The duration of time between cut-outs is seemingly random but is worst on some tracks than others.
I have discovered more about this bug. It appears to be present under both Linux and Windows and is therefore almost certainly a Dosbox bug. It appears to be more prominent when the CPU is under full load. I have posted this as a bug on the Dosbox project page. |

Works well. Remember the driving keys are A/Z for accel/brake and <, for left .> for right, with spacebar doing the shifting.. :D
Even works with GPFPS, so you can run at 50fps with enough cycles (amd 2600+)
No sound bugs experienced after one hour of driving.
Legendary game, amazing for its time and very challenging to set fast times!

Appears to run almost perfectly, but the sound blaster sound fails after a short period of time actually racing. The cause for this is currently unknown. |

All works ok - except for keyboard control within the game (during races), Keyboard works ok in the menus and configuration screens however.
game controller and mouse work fine if configured within the game.
Sound works perfect
On exit, statement at prompt reads "No extended Keyboard" (I suspect the reason for no keyboard support during actually playing the game |
